We moved home to coastal Southern California after 20 years away.

LEt’s Go HOME

After living in the City of Chicago for over 20 years, I was tired. I was burnt out by hustle culture. I wanted more. I loved the energy and the thrill of a big city, but I missed my family. I missed the relaxed, laidback vibe of my West Coast roots. And I really wanted my son to know what it was like to hug his PoPo every night and hang out with his cousins and go to family BBQs & birthday parties.

So we packed up all our belongings and our kid and drove cross-country in an RV to be reunited with our huge, extended family in California.

We moved back in with my parents into their Southern Californian, coastal home. And we’re now settling into this multi-generational household. I’m pouring all my energy & training in design into transforming their home and all the spaces around me. And, I’m learning how to live that SoCal life again.
